Liaison to Libya Projects

Dr Bendago acts as a consultant for Athlone Group focusing on all Libyan affairs. His experience and knowledge of the Libyan people, culture and his history is vital for the growth of our company in Libya said Jojar S Dhinsa Chairman & CEO of Athlone Group

Dr. Bendago is a graduate of The School of Medicine, Alfateh University in Tripoli Libya, 1981 with Honors. He worked as a general surgery Resident in Libya... He moved to Canada in 1986. He specialized in the field of Plastic Surgery and became fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

He was an assistant professor of Surgery at the University of Saskatchewan 1996-2000. He moved to Toronto where he is currently a consultant Plastic Surgeon and Chief, Division of Plastic Surgery at the Rouge Valley Health System. He also served as the chairmen of the medical Staff society for a full term. He is the organizer of Trauma Teaching workshops in Libya along with Libya physicians from Canada, USA, UK, and Libya sponsored by Wattissmo Charitable Organization which is chaired by Dr. Aisha Moammer Gaddaffi. He was instrumental along with Wattissmo organization in organizing the first conference in 2005 for the expatriates Libyan physicians abroad, to find ways in contributing to the health system in Libya. He was featured on Aljazeera TV as a successful Arab immigrant. In addition he was on Canada CTV, city pulse TV, the learning channel, and Libyan TV.
