Justin has over 30 years experience in the marketing and communications industry with a career spanning the client brand management, advertising agency and TV production company worlds, with extensive experience in developing communication strategies and campaigns for many of the world's leading brands.

He has a highly regarded reputation for client management skills, business development success and a strong affinity with creative talent having spent over 20 years working in some of the world’s leading advertising agencies in senior management roles as a Business Development Director (£100million + of new advertising assignments) or Managing Director.

Justin also has a reputation for working on difficult and challenging briefs, often with deeply held consumer prejudices.

He has helped run a number of Government funded information campaigns and has comprehensive experience developing media brands (UK launch of Disney TV, UK launch of abc1 TV, London launch of Heart radio, 3 years helping Metro Newspaper become a UK publishing success).

He has won awards for marketing effectiveness, creativity and production – most recently international awards for his work on the BBC Today Programme with Stephen Hawking, Kofi Annan, Yoko Ono and Sir David Attenborough.

During 2009 Justin helped develop the Arts Council / Ashridge Business School Advanced Leadership in the Creative Industries management programme and in February 2010 set up a new model brand communication agency The Cernis Collective which builds teams around projects using best in class worldwide expertise – but without the traditional cost structures.

Justin is passionate about creativity – recognising its power to change the fortunes of brands and businesses. He is hard working and commercially grounded and is committed to helping coach and mentor emerging talent within the industry.

He is also committed to giving his time and expertise to help charitable concerns and over the past 20 years has helped generate millions of pounds worth of free publicity for worthy causes, along the way helping 5 childless couples become parents through an awareness campaign for egg donation.

Justin sat on the Council of the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) for 2 years and is a Business Leader member of The Marketing Society.
