Crishantha Fernando was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka in 1963. He was educated at St. Joseph’s College, Colombo which saw him successfully passing all his national academic examinations and being registered as a student of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. Aside of this, Crishantha has vast experience in teaching student economics and ingeniously used all he had gained in starting work as an accountant for one of Sri Lanka’s leading trading companies, at a fresh age.

During his work as an accountant, he saw his passion for trading increase, and wanted to become part of the action, as opposed to working behind the scenes. With this idea in mind, he migrated to the United Kingdom in hope of a successful business start-up. However, this change in location did not alter his rudimentary aim of boosting the economy of his motherland. In the midst of earning a living in a new environment, Crishantha had contributed towards many charities and to this day, remains a treasurer of an upcoming Sri Lankan Art Academy based in the UK.

Now, Crishantha has been a fundamental element in jolting Sri Lanka’s import and export trade. He looks to use his passionate, strong-willed nature to drive him to accomplish his goals, with the focal one being creating the foundations of the future ascent of the standard of living in Sri Lanka.
